It was just another grim meeting of project when our PM asked (in hindi) one of the team member about a deliverable which has to be sent yesterday. Our dear friend, who has learnt Hindi through few of his Hindi speaking friends and some typical Mumbai masala films and who still need to be corrected for his improper use of nouns , pronouns and rest of grammar, replied “diya na main kal tere ko, tere mailbox me atak gaya hoga ”. This one liner caused a red sheen on my PM’s cheek, a screwed smile on our face and a proud expression on my dear friend’s face who just replied to his PM’s question in Hindi. :P
rotfl!! gem:)

ReplyDeleteDear Divaa Divine,
ReplyDeleteFor months you were added to my blog list of friends.I cherished your writing and included you in my list of virual friends whom , i have never met though but shared a bond through our common love of writing. But your recent comment and particularly the language you used has made me skeptical of continuing this mind affair further. Though , still whatever i know of you through your post it's very difficult for me to believe that it's you who have written this. But if you have written that then perhaps,i would have appreciated if you would have given a reason for disliking my blog and post so much and perhaps used a decent language to express that too.
nice one :) .. I can imagine PM's expressions:)
ReplyDeleteI had nice half hour sleep in front of my PM in superb boring knowledge transfer session :) and we were just 6-7 people in the conference room where the session was held :)
